Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are involved when you use this site, who sets them and how you can control them. Personal information more broadly is covered on the Privacy Policy page. The site itself is described on the About page, and the main content is on the Royal Vegas Casino NZ page.

1. What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. When you return, the browser sends it back, which lets a site remember a setting, recognise a visit or measure traffic. Cookies cannot run programs or read other files on your device. Similar browser storage, such as localStorage, works in much the same way, and "cookie" on this page covers it too.

2. Categories of cookies on this site

CategoryUsed by this site?Notes
Strictly necessaryNo cookies setPages are static and load without cookies.
AnalyticsNoNo analytics script runs on these pages at present.
Advertising and remarketingNoNo display ads, ad networks or tracking pixels.
Affiliate trackingNot on this domainSet by the operator or its affiliate programme after you click through.

The funding model behind the affiliate links is set out on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

3. Third parties and where their cookies apply

When you click a button such as "Sign up" or "Claim your bonus", you leave this site through an internal /go address and arrive at Royal Vegas. From that point, cookies are set on the operator's domains, not ours.

Links to helplines, regulators and other public bodies, such as those on the Responsible Gambling page, take you to their own sites, which apply their own cookie policies.

4. How to control cookies in your browser

Every modern browser lets you block cookies, delete stored ones, or refuse third-party cookies. Official instructions:

A private or incognito window also stops cookies carrying over between sessions.

5. What happens if you block cookies

This site works exactly the same, because it does not depend on cookies. If you block cookies on the operator's site, logging in and the cashier may not work there, and a registration may not be credited to this site. Royal Vegas treats you the same either way.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because this site sets no tracking cookies, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off here. On the operator's site, how those signals are handled is set by the operator.

7. Updates to this policy

If we add analytics or any other cookie in future, this page will be updated first, with the cookie's name, purpose and lifetime, and the "Last updated" date will change, under the same rules as the rest of the site, set out in the Editorial Policy.

8. Questions and complaints

Cookie questions can be sent through the Contact page; questions about the main page's content go to its author, Dean Ryan. Complaints about the handling of personal information in New Zealand can be made to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
